Every Israeli PM seems to need a war to their credit, just to show how tough they are (and take attention away from the WB and negotiations). Barak is heading for his third one and poor Bibi needs his chance to star. He and his team are doing everything they can to drive the West into starting a war for them or providing the cover (and military muscle) to let Israel star in the spotlight. One can never be clear whether he means anything he says, or whether it's just posing for the domestic Zio audience. But he needs to be told by the rest of the world that it's NOT going to go to war simply to preserve Israel's nuclear hegemony in the M-E or its status as the local bully-boy on the block. I do wish he would shut up and let the UN get on with it, Israel is adding nothing to resolving the position with Iran and merely inflames things to get headlines in the Israeli press.
