Bibi's coalition is diminished. If Mofaz takes the plunge and joins the Yesh Atid, Bibi is finished. He is facing a barrage of criticism from the US which is obviously emanating from the White House. Some of it is damning: The White House has given up on Netanyahu. They have outsourced the problem to Europe. They will not take action against Europe's efforts (ie, no veto). What does a cornered cat do in such a situation? Israelis should hope for their own sake that Bibi is smarter than Hollande and knows when to hold off.
