Many of the articles about the possibility of the newly re-elected American President retaliating against the current Israeli government conclude that there's not much Obama can do about it. Really?! What if he was to say something like this and change the course of history. "We will always be there for our best friend in the Middle East but Americans generally believe that friendship is a two way street. After four years we no longer believe the current Israeli government sees it that way. Accordingly, my government will be re-assessing our relationships in this turbulent region." There's nothing President Obama can do? Really?
