Among Israel-minded voters, Sanders would get the J Street vote, Bloomberg would garner AIPAC’s and Trump would scrounge for leftovers.00:50 12.02.16 | 0 comments
He talks of the imperative need to restart negotiations at a time when Barak and the isrli government have oked more housing units in the occupied territories. It's a sham. This visit has nothing to do with restarting negotiations and everything to do with making sure Israel secures more money from the US and more arms. And the response from the US? "Concern" over more expansionism. And the response a few months ago to that act of expanionism? "Concern". And the one announced a few months before that? "Concern". And the one anounced in mid 2010? "Concern" And two yrs ago? "Concern". And the end result of course is that the US gives Israel carte blanche, doing nothing substantive to stop it. This recent declaration is meant to surround and cut off the village of Beit Jalla; cut it off from Jerusalem and Bethlehem and judaise it and then onto Bethlehem itself. And for all this Clinton lauds the "peace efforts" of the one Israel trots out to cover while the government steals, dispossesses and confiscates.
