Once the international Group of Eleven military attacks (illegal under international law) on Assad begin, they will never stop -- as shown in Libya -- until the government is thrown out and killed. Since Assad, his troops and his Alawite Shia religious miniority sect know they are doomed for massacre by the West and the Gulf Sunni nations -- the Group of 11-- and the rebels, they will probably launch a massive and total preemptive strike to kill as many foreign attackers and invaders as possible, including the oil fields and refineries in Saudi Arabia Qatar, UAE if weapons can reach them, Turkey, and a full-scale gas attack on London's financial centre by ground agents. The attack -- with missiles and their deadly assorted cargos, jets, submarines -- would use conventional and chemical weapons but also, if stored, biologic weapons. Notice, Assad has intentionally left Israel alone in this preemptive scenario, because he is leaving that for future Sunni generations to deal with.
