1. There does not have to be a "Jewish State"! There has to be a secular, modern, non-discriminatory state ther, where all citizens have the same right and immigration is not based on religion. (You have seen what the present Israeli policies have caused, right?) The paranoid fixation of the persecuted around the world (make that jewish persecuted) is a nefariuos "idee fixe" that you need to overcome. And if this supposed persecution exists around the world somewhere, please ask yourself "Why does it exist?" and follow that up with "What can we - the Jewish people - do to stop this persecution?" here in the US, Jewish organizations are throwing their weight around and that will cause "persecution" one of these days. The same has happened in many countries around the world in the past. has the forced displacement of millions around the world during the last 50 or more years justify continuing with this amoral activity today in Israel?
