Setting up a countrywide infrastructure isn't like selling ice cream on the street corner. Of course Better Place is going to protect their interests. At the same time they have welcomed other to join in and compete. It will require an economy of scale larger than Better Place can create all by themselves to get the world off oil addiction. Just be thankful that someone finally stepped up to the plate and approached the issue with a feasible solution. Will it change and evolve over time? Of course, everything does.
