If every film that dealt with the Israel-Palestine conflict--or any conflict--were required to provide adequate context, we'd have nothing other than contentious documentaries. This is a feature film, with its assets and flaws. And it deals with a political reality that is amply covered and analyzed in the mainstream press. Unless the viewer has lived in a bottle for the past two decades, the context is already established. I also don't share the reviewer's moral template--the Shin Bet folks seemed manipulative and duplicitous.
