State says nobody has a right to sell the drafts on the open market for a profit, as this infringes on the state's right to keep an asset 'of deep symbolic significance' that belongs to the state and the public.01:40 27.11.15 | 0 comments
The situation Aluf Benn describes in his article "No one to give them back to" has been around almost as long as has the Palestinian Authority. To help bring Israelis out of their collective amnesia, Haaretz could reprint Benny Begin's 2002 article in which he presented facts from the ground about the PA' s "peace with Israel " policy, firmly in place since 1994. The title of that article is: "Years of Hope." It's those facts on the ground that have brought the situation to what it is. Since its inception the Palestinian Authority has implemented a destroy-Israel policy in its institutions, like TV,schools and mosques. Nothing Israel has done or could have done would have changed the picture.
