    Ben,again you show sound strategy and one that will work.Will work that is from the point of view of giving someone with a clear view a mandate.Peace though will prove more elusive. The problem is there is no one (not a spin)to work with on the other side. Abbas cannot control the groups and at best it is a buffer for Hamas,as they can glide along on his coat tails gaining prestige from the international market.But the danger is making peace with unreliable entities and the Israeli public knows that.Hamas just plays with Abbas to further their own goals and Abbas can barely pull it together with Hamas for a conversation and actually needs the west the ferment a deal just between Hamas and Abbas.Its a game with them. If it needs a right winger or a left winger on the Israeli side it may need the same on the Palestinian side,but someone with focus,determination and courage.Abbas doesnt have.I truly wish there was a pragmatic strong entity to deal with.
