I am not Jewish. I am pro-Israeli, have hundreds of Israeli friends, and have immediate family who live in Israel who are Jewish Israelis. I have traveled to Israel 20 times over the past 7 years. I must say the treatment as a non-Jew at Ben Gurion although somewhat understandable during the intifada, has been down right abusive. Only since the new Ben Gurion was created did proper respect and edicate begin to be noticed when questioned at luggage check. I am finally glad to see the final step towards being secure, professional and hi tech with this new security system taking the place of tagged non Jewish luggage and people. Finally, the airport personal are matching the lovely, friendly, warm, hospitable feel of the rest of the country. Go Israel!
