The fractious and extreme right wing religious factions that make up the fragile government in Israel will never agree to any compromise that will concede what they (mistakenly) believe is their divine right to the land. No one has a divine right to anything. If this is understood by all parties then compromise is possible but I wouldn't hold your breath. Hamas is sworn to the destruction of the modern state of Israel. The settler movement has been allowed to fester and International Law has been rendered meaningless yet here we are again. The abject failure over many years of politicians on both sides to reach an agreement which gives both the Palestinians a state and Israel security, surely means peace must be imposed by the International Community and policed by it.
