Hamas wants what Hizbolah wanted in 2000, an Israeli withdrawal to 67 borders. Hamas like Hizbollah has not and does not intend to recognise a two state solution. They still believe in armed resistance to Israel's existence on the land of (1947) Palestine. The PA Hamas government could in no way be participant to a two state peace. Just as the 2005-2006 government of Lebanon was not fully sovereign, the PLO negotiators with Israel are not fully sovereign in Palestine. What about the facts on the ground reality of this, does Yossi Beilin not understand? I find it disgusting that so called peace loving lefties like this YB are using religious extremists and eretz Israel security first righties to perpetuate WB settlements. Until Pals give up right of return, all peace talks do is perpetuate occupation. Converge. Reduce the occupation now.
