One of the errmakes of Haalalachic Judaism is that the Diety in reality doesn't need any of our preaises, ot even reciting the Shma. We are servansts to do what we are commanded, If it's acommandment, then . . . you do it, if it wasn't commaneded, or, in the case of cusoms we do them on account of our some Revevred spiritual guidance, we do that, too. To do somehing that we imagine that the Dietty will give us brownie points,is not recommended. That goes for Orthodox Jews, too, that out of lack of knowledge, too much entusisam,as well. Rabbi Anat, may imagine she is doing the Deity a favor, but, in Judaism, all of us are simply Servants of te Deity--we punch our our clock, do what we are supposed to do and notheg more, c'est tous!
