'I am ashamed that I saw injustice and never did anything about it,' Reinhold Hanning tells German courtroom.01:17 30.04.16 | 1 comments
As a retired working citizen of modest means, I have been following Nochi Dankner's financial shenanigans as reported in Ha'aretz, for a long time. It certainly took time, but finally, this superb gentleman is having to reply to some serious questions posed to him by the Israel Securities Authority. He's lucky to have expensive lawyers who will try to shelter him from the law. Mr. Dankner also needs more rabbinical advice, and fortunately, he can afford some of the smartest rabbis to help him in his hour of moral need as well. I don't think I'd buy a used car from him. Hopefully he'll keep his black Kippa on - like so many "God botherers" do, when facing serious investigation. Our economy does not required amateur manipulators, who undermine public trust in financial institutions. He should be free to leave the country and go and play elsewhere.
