Rubinstein was invited as a guest speaker to address a Conference by the Zionist Federation held in London on 2 Sept to celebrate "Israel at 60'.However,the ZF received a petition on behalf of a number of British Jews condemning the invite to Haaretz, known for its anti Israel policy and demanding a withdrawal.A few days before at a UN meeting on 'Palestinian rights' in Brussels, Rubinstein described his country Israel as an "apartheid" state!Because of this, naturally the ZF withdrew as co-host Rubinstein, rightly so of course. He complained that he "came directly to a court-martial and felt humiliated and hurt"! and so he should be as it is well deserved! Is he naive or a liar ? Can he tell us if he is aware of how many Arab MKs we have in the Knesset? to mention only one example. One would have expected him to bury his head in the sand for the himiliation and stop being silly
