Basically all are correct assumptions. But it will be a very difficult task considering the thousands of rockets supplied to Hizbullah by Iran and still more to Hamas. It would not be like the end of cold war when Ukrania gave up voluntarily all Nuclear Weapons on its soil(No analogy with the word Nuclear here please). After Gaza withdrawal look what happened right afterwards, thousands of rockets started to fly into Israel. But we would never know if Sharon instead of being spiteful had left Gaza to Palestinian Authority as if a concession, even if it was not so! Middle East being Middle East he imagined, believed it would have been a weakness to capitulate or give the impression of! Let us also not forget what happened to Sadat and Rabin who had chosen the peace track. As I say it is a very good idea but it would be difficult, it will need leaders with balls of steel and people who can follow in their foot steps just in case!

from the article: Bombing Iran will strengthen it; only peace will weaken Iran
