Thank you very much, Gideon Levy for this text. A chief is a person who leads his people and who can lead him in spite of him. He must have a vision which he can transmit to his people and he must have courage to resist to the enemies of this vision, to the defaitists, to those which do not see beyond the horizon. The question is obviously the validity of this vision. It can be disastrous (Hitler), it can be beneficial (Mahatma Gandhi). Often, this leaders may pay of their life, their vision and their courage but last enter the History. Barak had for the first time in Israeli History a vision and a courage but it did not go until the end of fear of losing its life or its status. If he returns to the policy he is the best possible candidate not the ideal candidate and if he kept his vision and to decide to exceed his fear, it will enter the history to make it possible to the Israelis to exist and Palestinian to recover part of their rights. He T is not responsible for the war of Lebanon but Olmert
