Defense Minister Ehud Barak admits that Israel is not the USA, but that didn't prevent him, not even for a second, from threatening to destroy Lebanon once again! Words like his are taken as a great challenge to the eastern, esp Muslim, mind, and it so sad that Israelis will never understand. It goes something like this, from Turkey thru to India, to the Far East: "Westerner: your machines can kill 10 or 20 of us for every one of you that we kill, but that's a victory for us, because you cower before the prospect of death, whereas we crave martyrdom for our people! If even one of our sons remains alive, and there will be many, many, more of our sons living than yours, we will live to fight another day, another year, or another 100 years. We believe that time and G-D are on our side, and you are in the wrong. Eventually, you will be beaten, and we will rise up from the ruins, like we've done in every generation, to take back what is ours." And this will never change.
