According to all appearances, he is wrong. The relationship is not going to be the same, and Israel is not going to like Egypt's new policy on Palestine. But he cannot be seen to contradict his American masters who have already admitted that US interests are not jeopardized. Then he admonishes Egypt that violence “should be avoided,” by which, I assume, he is lecturing them on how to run their revolution. Finally, he does not believe that the Brothers can resist angling for control, because “radical Muslim movements” cannot be believed. This looser still thinks he can talk authoritatively. Even Lieberman was circumspect.
