As usual with Haaretz, this wont be posted. They like critics of Israel and ignore its defenders. The Palestinians are trying to destroy Israel and kill all its Jews but this noble fellow focuses only on Israel's imperfect defense. There are not now and never have been any clean wars. Whether a country is the aggressor or defender, its soldiers do bad things in war. Unlike this person, I believe that the IDF is trying to wage as clean a war as possible. If one focuses on the suffering of those "poor" people in Gaza, why does he not lament for the suffering of the German civilians in World War II? Both elected vicious, aggressive governments that forced wars. As for the poor displaced Palestinians, how about poor displaced Jews? What does he say about the Jews massacred in Hebron in 1929 and driven from their homes? Does he support their return?
