Why then didn't Obama simply have a photo opp and a working lunch or something with Israel's head of state? Is he that worried about offending the Arabs that he has to short change the one ally of the U.S. in the entire region? The Arabs want to DESTROY Israel, not have a peace deal of any kind. Hamas's charter is to kill the Jews and they regularly preach this garbage to their children, as reported by memri.org and other responsible news media. In this situation, to blame Israel for impeding peace with its "conquest" of its own historical capital of Jerusalem is ludicrous and counter productive. Question for Mr. Obama--where in the Koran does it even mention Jerusalem? Answer--nowhere. Jerusalem is not a holy city to the Muslims. True, every place that Mohammed so much as dropped a used Kleenex turns into a holy site, but that just does not compare to what it means to the Jews.
