he didn't believe in God. The previous talkbackers forget when Wisconsin was terrorizing the working people who wanted work, and had to go through the Seven Gates of Hell to get it, it was a Shas minister that closed it down. When Natanyahu wanted to cut back on beneifits to working people, he also threatened the PM with pulling out of the coaltion. There are plenty of Jews who are Traditional aka Mesorati, Dati, and Haredi, and also many people who are otherwise not as Observant who classify as poor, or lower middle who don't "finish the month". T'would seem to me some ultra-Secularists might have forgotten the struggles of single mothers who were forced to work on Shabbat to serve them at B-G lunch counters until the Labor Court forced thier contractors to let them have time with their children. Some of those mothers may not have been Dati, or Haredi at all, even Secular, but who cares, as the late Zvulun Hammer said of many of those who refer to themselves as "Secularists", they were in fact, Hedonists who regarded Halachic Observance it when it provided it inconvienced thier search for the "good life". Yes, Virginia, for many poor people who find themselves in employment situations where ther boss imposes rules that are not in the books, they go to the Ministry of Labor, who happens to be Halachically Observant and reminds thier employers that ther employees who work, but they are also Jews!
