I am not sure if the ranting of a man so uncommitted to his country or his nation that he not only got himself French citizenship (of all countries, that in itself speaks volumes) but advocated in his book that all Israelis should do everything they can to get foreign citizenship. As an Oleh I find Mr. Burg offensive, as a Jew I find him reprehensible, and as a voter I find him a coward. Mr. Burg left the government not for ideological reasons but for greed and money. I usually would find nothing wrong with that, however in Mr. Burg's case he got on his soapbox AFTER he left the government. If he was so committed to his beliefs, why then did he voluntarily resign from the one forum that could change things. Shame on you Mr. Burg, please stay in France and meddle in their Politics (you voted for Ms. Royale in the French election because you believed that she would continue Jaques Chiraq's anti-Israel policies)leave those of us who want a Jewish homeland to build it, enjoy Paris.

Among Israel-minded voters, Sanders would get the J Street vote, Bloomberg would garner AIPAC’s and Trump would scrounge for leftovers.

Israel's angry, bitter left must reclaim the language of hope

We leftists whine and complain, we only talk about how bleak and hopeless life is in Israel. We alienate all those Israelis whose support we need to bring political change.
