I love Australia. It is my home for over half a century. But I think Australia is making a big mistake here. Australia and the rest of the Western world should be greatful to Israel for getting rid of a murderous terrorist. What would happen if America assassinates Osama bin Laden? Wouldnt we all celebrate? And if Australia would assassinate the terrorist responsible for the Bali murders' wouldnt we all be pleased? Australia does not havce to follow Britain on this issue. Britain has always been anti-Israel. Israel kicked the British out of their country in 1948. But Australia was always friendly to Israel. Why the sudden change? Is it because of the Labour government? Howard would never do this.
