I don’t recall ever Israel threatening any nation of wiping it of the face of the earth. Do you? But I remember since the very beginning Israel neighbors trying to wipe Israel of the face of the earth, especially now by Iran as Ahmadinajad explicitly declares every opportunity he has. (He also threatens all the west as well, but the west is blind and deaf, and they see him as the nice guy chasing peace. One day the west will wake up, but this will be one day too late.) In the wars of 67 and 73 that were imposed on Israel, Israel captured pieces of land. This is what happens in wars, one side wins, and one side loses. Too bad that those who started the wars lost.? When Israel and Egypt singed the peace treaty, Israel returned Sinai to Egypt, but Egypt refused to take back the Gaza strip, so Israel got stuck with it. The same when peace was made with Jordan, they were not enthusiastic to take back the Palestinians either. In all the efforts to create a Palestinian state, they got about 98% of the land back but they dropped the deal every time. It seams like playing the role of the poor guys suits them better than being independent and failing in that. But yes, go ahead and keep on blaming and hating Israel, the only civilized democratic developed country in the ME. (may be this is the reason) It doesn’t matter what they will do, you will always find something to blame and hate them. I wonder I didn’t read yet an article blaming Israel on the global warming or the eruption of the volcano in Iceland.
