Great idea Jeremy. Then what? The Iranian nuclear development program would be set back some months or probably at the most 2 years. With that attack Iran will close the strait of Hormuz. It is 29 miles wide at widest point. The daily flow of oil thru the strait is 16.5-17 million barrels of oil a day. The oil flows to Asia, the US and Europe. That represents 40% of all seaborne oil traded and 20% of all oil traded. Three quarters of all Japanese oil requirements pass thru Hormuz. The oil production of the 7 states of the UAE, and Bahrain, Iraq and Qatar will be curtailed not to mention a serious impact on the oil production of Saudi Arabia. Then what? What will Israel do to restore the economic balance of all those nations affected by the lack of oil resources? Can Israel take care of it or will it sit back and let others fight its war for it? Don?t you think the International community has had enough of Israel and all the trouble it causes in the ME?
