Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 10 comments
I am sure Israel has the capacity to attack Iran. But than what? Even in Israel's wildest dreams it cannot expect to permanently impair Iran's nucleair capabilities. I heard experts say that a five year delay is about the max Israel can hope for. What happens after that five year? Another attack. Or does Israel hope for an Iraq-like situation where hostilities will lead to an international intervention and troops on the ground? Another costly war, but one that will keep Iran of Israel's back for the time being? and who says that Iran's ability to fight back is so limited? They could resort to terrorattacks. I don't trust the Iranian government to be sure. But I am also not convinced at all that the current Israeli government is levelheaded.
