Israel will not attack Iran. Not in the next few years and not ever, not because the United States opposes such a move but because if Israel attacks Iran it will be the last thing Isreal will ever do. It will mean the end of Israel as we know it. Israel could not defeat or stop Hezbollah in Lebanon and had to leave like a rabid dog with it's tail between its legs and the same will happened if it attacks Iran.
