having worked in Hebron and seen Shuhada street before and after closing I would say it is an atrocity. The shop keepers who have been deprived of livelihood and struggled to feed their children, the school children who regularly get stoned by settlers while trying to get to their school, the recist grafitti painted on the doors of the closed Palestinian shops, and the hours and hours lost to the Palestinian economy by having to go the circuitous rout around rather than straitght through on Shuhada Street say to me it is an atrocity.
