I was raised without religion, and my family always celebrated Christmas. Why? Because Christmas has more secular trappings than any holiday you'll ever encounter. Even the few religious stories associated with the holiday are inconsistent with the text of the Bible. The holiday developed as a celebration coinciding with the winter solstice, and reindeer, Santa, trees, and presents have plenty of cultural significance but zero religious significance.
