Ahmedinejad is vaguely deranged and may be dangerous, but whatever he is, he's not Hitler, and we can't assume he will act like Hitler or should therefore be treated like Hitler. In particular, thank you for pointing out that Iran is not the united totalitarian monolith that Nazi Germany was. Thank you also for pointing out that Bush's kindergarten rhetoric about the axis of evil and regime change is primarily responsible for pushing Iran to seek nuclear weapons and for pushing Iran to keep Iraq destabilised. After all, with Bush and Cheney around, Ahmedinejad knows a stable Iraq means a massive US army on his doorstep looking for a new country to bring violent regime change and catastrophe to. Don't bomb and threaten Iran. Treat it like the sophisticated, complex, potentially pro-western country it is. Encourage regime change sensibly and peacefully, as was done with Georgia, Ukraine etc.
