Well-said Brother Rat It?s been a slog and will continue for G-d only knows how much longer but it?s the only slog we have right now. But there are more and more chinks of light these last few days eh? As far as IDF complicity in Shabra and Shatilla, nothing was ever proved. In fact Sharon won a libel case against Time-Life that tried to implicate him and his men. It was IDF tactical doctrine to light up their perimeter with flares as it was doctrine to shoot into bends in the thickly over-grown roads in and around Borj Al Brajne and Ein Al Haadath. Reckless to be sure, but that?s what most of war is, recklessness carried out in a dense fog. But by just standing there the IDF must take a lot of the heat because it certainly had wind of something through the grapevine, and the grapevine was usually a reliable intel channel. Not always but more times than not Shabat Shalom
