Mr Akhras, a man of his status and intelligence, should have brought his childern up telling them the magnitude of the brutality and savegery of the Assad the father, sinc, he is of the same age as me, I am assuming, he knew very well about the world's ugliest human tragedy in the city of Hama. So, on that day when his daughter came home to tell him that she met the son of Hafez assad, and she is in love and wants to marry him, he should've warned her of the perils of such a move, I do not know wether he did, or he blessed the relation without any reservation. Maybe he was part of a big slice of the Syrian society, whom they are corrupt, and were taken by the glamour and the glitter of marrying into power and money, he shall reap what he sow.
