Back during the Vietnam war, protests became so frequent, so omnipresent, that the situation was impossible to ignore. Nobody could say they had not heard of the protests, whether or not they agreed with them. The business-as-usual of U.S. foreign policy was impossible. No venue was guaranteed to be free of the unexpected. So it is becoming with Israel. Attention is being gained after 65 years of pretending there is no issue and that ignoring it will make protest go away. Indeed, the arc of history bends toward justice.
