It's not because Israel is building more than a thousand new, illegal settlements, because it razes an hotel or because of an increased number of air strikes. It's not because the Israeli government (Bibi) announces that it will break the law in order to stop the court-ordered eviction of people living in illegal settlements. It's not because of a bunch of racist statements that are at best barely condemned by Bibi's government. As usual Israel's actions have nothing whatsoever to do with increasing international criticism, blame it on Labour. A line that John Lennon wrote comes to mind: "living is easy with your eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see".
