Actions speak louder than words. Is there anything that Israel can do that would prompt a more severe response from western nations than simply a scolding? For decades, Israel builds settlements on Palestinian land. Result? Periodic scoldings. Israel kills 1400 Palestinian civilians. Result? Scolding. Israel boards civilian ships in international waters and kills nine passengers. Result? Scolding. Now Israel is announcing a new settlement expansion. Result? Scolding. Israel has committed far more infractions than these few, but, if there was any response at all, it was only a scolding. Israel has yet to find it's boundries. The west has yet to impose any boundries. Is it any wonder there is no peace at hand?
