Is it fair that the whole country should suffer because a tiny minority want better pay? They will be forced to negotiate rather than strike, these are essential services and when they strike they can bring the entire country to a standstill costing the state millions for everyday the striking lasts and d disruption o the public. Bibi needs to smash the Hustadrut the way Margret Thatcher smashed the power of the British unions and we should support any efforts he makes to do so. The all powerful Histadrut are a remnant of the dark days of Israels past when the country was run by hardcore socialists. Time for the Histadrut to be brought into the 21st century where they will of course have a right to strike in non essential services but there must be more stringent conditions on when a strike is justified and there must not be any general strikes.
