Sure, Israel is much more powerful, but the Palestinians still do have power. The foundation of their power is that Israel is politically incapable of pushing the 2 million or so Palestinians out of the West Bank. They are there to stay, and are growing in numbers. If the security forces and government were disolved, Israel would have to pick up the slack inevitably. Eventually, by some force, the Palestinians in the West Bank would have to be considered citizens, and the day that happens, the dream of Israel is assuredly over. Don't be so damn sure that the Palestinians are incapable of threats.
