Oh Marcus, I am of the mind that Olmert should not do or say anything for six months, at least. As for Peretz, being the minister for defence is not a cushy job, like in Peru. Defence Minister Peretz will be a busy man. Now, just like other defence ministers before and after him he will have a juggling act and more. Every move he makes in whatever direction is going to be applauded, lauded, criticized and maligned. He will be expected to know the future, and predict exactly the reactions on the part of the Pals. Quite an order. Now Mark it is also important to remember that he still lives in Sderot. this weekend he went back to visit. In the past he would lambast previous defence ministers for not acting strong enough. Now he is the defence minister and Hamas is bombing his city, his children, his home. This is when it becomes imperative Mr. Lincoln, to put down a few of your books and newspapers and use your heart and soul. What if you were bombed?
