We all know that police used excessive force in Amona and attacked even when the demonstrators were not endangering them. The right-wing rightfully demanded an investigation then. I believe that the root of the problem is that the Border Police are trained to act too violently--to punish rather than just enforce the law (and leave punishment to the courts). The right wing should join the left wing in pushing the government to train the Border Police differently.
