With polls ahead of Thursday’s mayoral election putting George Galloway on no more than 1%, we could be witnessing the welcome political demise of a malignant racist.19:43 02.05.16 | 0 comments
I do not regard the expectation of the Palestinians for building to stop on the land which would be theirs in the event of their new state,as a precondition. How can we expect them to accept the frittering away of this land even as they negotiate. So ....firstly STOP building..and be transparent about it.Next negotiate secure borders for both sides, with land swaps where needed. Next Palestinians have to realise that our keeping, for example Maale Adumim,in exchange for barren land IS fair, since when Israel started ,that was also barren land.We should offer to help and advise to get THEIR places truly habitablke and workable. Only with full co-operation will anything be achieved. Of course,if our right wing objectors are proved right, then I will eat my words.
