1. the 1947 proposed areas for a Jewish and an Arab state proposed the following: The Jews were to get 56.4% of the land for their state when they were 33% of the population. The Arabs were 67% of the population. The areas designated as the Jewish state was to have a population of Arabs of 325,000. They felt this was grossly unjust since they were the majority but getting less and a significant portion of their population was delegated to the Jewish state. The zionist parties of course did not accept this as is often though and they changed through military actions and terrorism. They also did not accep the international status for Jerusalem and they expelled 300,000 Arabs before the declaration of the Jewish state. As for 1967, those territories taken by Israel in warfare are not recognised by the international community or international law as belonging to Israel, nor does Israel have the right to change the demographic makeup of the occupied territories. This is agreed upon by all countries other than Israel.
