Thanks for this review. Can it be said, however, that rockets shot from Gaza by unproven assailants creates a state of armed conflict as defined by maritime law without formal declaration? If that is the case then there is armed conflict between South Africa and Zimbabwe because SA citizens are shooting migrants from Zimbabwe as they cross the border. Maritime law must surely be much more precise and technical than that. And there appears to be no proof that the people on the flotilla were related in any way to Hamas. There are lots of wild accusations, but they wont hold up in the International Criminal Court or in the UN unless there is clear proof that these people were part of a so called "Hamas armed conflict" with Israel. This is too serious to rely on spin. Israel is heading towards complete isolation.
