Ariel literally sticks out like a sore thumb. A picture is worth a thousand words, and Ariel looks on the map like it just doesn't belong there and can't be justified. The annexations around Jerusalem can be finessed and "swapped" for but the inability to either let Ariel go or have a viable two-state peace while holding onto it will delay peace for generations, if not forever.
