Moshe Arens is opposed to giving back an inch of territory to anybody, even in the case of a formal and comprehensive peace agreement with the palestinians and the entire arab world. Moreover, he advocates the recapture of Gaza, the entire west bank and the Sinai. In his twisted world, palestinians will be allowed to live in the occupies territories only as second class citizens without the right to vote and deprived of the protection of the geneva Convention. These are his words, told to collegues time and time again. Reagan administration officials who had to deal with him during his tenures as foreign and defense minister were amazed at his unwielding and scary mild mannered extremism and his totally draconian and inhuman views vis-a-vis the palestinians. The fact that Haaretz is giving such an extreme right wing radical an opprtunity to spread his bizarre and irrational extremism is puzzling.
