Note that both Olmert and livni are lawyers who are not bad with words and cases, but not with real world land development, tanks and war. Livni is a real negative surprise as we would have thought she might have had future. First she backed down like a coward after demanding that Olmert resign. Then she follows him almost word for word on the concession business. Olmert is doing this mostly for himself since it is the only way he could rehabilitate if peace worked out. Livni doe not have her own position.
