Having said that, to reduce Israel's right to exist as purely a result of the Holocaust is to miss the historical context completely. Israel is our homeland. We were dispersed from there by imperialist Romans 2000 years ago, many many generations before Mohammed was born. Other options for a Jewish State (including Uganda) were on the table 100 years ago (50 before the Holocaust) and were rejected then because we didn't want to be colonialists - we wanted to return home. Israel's right to exist is based on millenia old traditions and history and in its modern form is sealed in UN declarations. For an aspiring nuclear power to be denying it should be making the whole world, not just Israel and the Jews, very scared indeed. As should the level of ignorance displayed on this talking board.
