They call themselves Orthodox. Are they? But Orthodox listen to their Rabbis and follow our 3K year old Mesora. These women have no problem disobeying ruling of state-appointed Rabbi of the Wall, but they claim they obey Halacha. No surprise they said their prayers are part of the local custom as interpreted in Judge Sobel, not as interpreted by Rabbonim. By the way, there is no Halachik prohibition to women to pray in presence of men. The prohibition is only for men to see women or hear women's voice during prayer. So, they should not be kidding anyone.
