i understand they are not happy, how could they be with all the local history. but having said that, the arab population can get a good education, good healthcare, many have jobs that they don't declare and don't pay taxes, building a house in a arab village costs much less then the rest of the country, they usually don't get permission for add on's to their homes and don't pay extra taxes for their larger homes, check out how many israeli arabs are registered in university, medical school and other professional programs..oh yes and they don't serve in the idf. it is a tough life here for everyone and i think they can do more as citizens of israel in their own communities. come to the new shopping center across zichron yaacov , any day of the week. the local arab and jewish community seem just fine together. we are all out there food shopping, working and living . arabs and jews. we all complain but actually things are not bad, maybe even good. an example of how things can be .
